Annoying multiple alerts!

I signed up and got this app to being alerted when there is a warning in my area, but is it necessary to be alerted in the middle of the night about what may happen the following day? It is also annoying when I receive alerts from both Cecily and Adam. Not only one alert from each, but multiple times from each, in a row!
